Hello Friends! Katy here and I thought I would kick start July with some holiday inspiration. Using the Bold Holiday Sentiments and Wrapped Christmas Sentiments from Maker Forte to create a more modern Christmas card to start building up my holiday stash.
I created five cards with the same elements and color theme, but changed the layout a bit on each one and did some dry die embossing on a couple as well.
One thing I forgot to mention in the video is this would make a great masculine card by simply changing out the sentiment.
As always I have a video tutorial for you. If you have trouble watching here on the blog, you can click here to watch on Youtube.
Here is a closer look at each of the other 4 cards.
Here you can see the dry embossing using a crimped circle die from my stash.
On this card I used both the large die and small die to dry emboss which gave the space in between a bit of puffiness and great additional dimension.
For this card, I offset the two circles for a different look.
and finally, another landscape card base with the Merry & Bright centered. You could also move this over to the far right corner for yet another look.
I love how these turned out and I have more ideas for these stamp sets for the upcoming holiday season. Be sure and subscribe to my channel for more inspiration.
