Hello! It’s Kari here today with 2 cards using the brand new Nesting Dolls. I just loved the story that Alexandra shared about her grandmother in Germany who gave her a set of Nesting Dolls! Then when I colored these images up, I fell in love with this set!
My first card is an A2 card, with a Vintage Damask background heat embossed with clear.

Just look at that beautiful floral detail on those cute dolls!
Next, I decided to create a folding card that, when open, shows more of the dolls. I thought this would be a fun way to highlight those nesting dolls. I started out with the buttons embossing folder on red cardstock. Then I added a bit of foundry wax and heat set that. I cut them to fit on each panel.

Then I added the largest nesting doll to the front of the folding card. When you open the card, you can see a smaller doll and then even a smaller one that that. I added a belly band with a stamp that says “With Love.” When you pull that belly band off and open up the card, here is what you see:

If you want to recreate this card fold, start with 1/2 of a sheet of cardstock long-wise (4 1/4″ x 11″).
Then, score the long panel at: 1.5″, 3″, 5.5″, and 8″
Here are the measurements for the 3 red panels:
Panel 1: 1 1/4″ x 4″
Panel 2: 2 1/4″ x 4″
Panel 3: 2 3/4″ x 4″
