Hello my crafty friends. It’s Jackie back with another project using the gorgeous Floating on Dreams stamp set. I just love these butterflies.

I started out my die cutting these tags from Neenah Desert Storm kraft paper. It’s a beautiful smooth paper. Great for colored pencils

For no-line coloring, I needed an ink that was a little lighter. Just dark enough to see the stamped lines. Frappe ink color was perfect for what I needed

I went a little outside of my comfort zone this time and colored these stamped images with Prismacolor Colored Pencils. I got these pencils a few months back, but have rarely used them. I figured it was time. You can’t get good at something that you never practice. I’m not sure of all the colors that I used. I have them all mixed together in a tall container. I just grabbed colors that looked like they would blend together.

This sentiments in this set are so inspirational. I choose these single words because of the beautiful script. After prepping my black paper with an anti static tool, I stamped the sentiments with Clear Embossing Glue and sprinkled white embossing power. Heating the powder until it was completely melted and shiny. I then individually cut out each sentiment and added dimensional foam to the backs and adhered them to the tags.

I don’t know about you, but I have have drawers full of pattern paper. They’re just too pretty to give away, but it’s perfect for small projects like this. I dug through until I found 2 that matched the colored butterflies.

I put together the tags with white ribbon tied with gold floss.

Thank you for following along

Until next time – Jackie ❤
