Hi there,
It’s Kaja from Kajcyika crafts and today I will show you another one layer stenciled card — this time we will focus on the stenciling technique only! The card is easy to make and recreate, so I hope you will feel inspired and try something similar.
Take a look:

On today’s card, I will show you how to add dimension on one layer cards with almost no effort!
I started making this card by positioning the gorgeous Vine & Flower Wreath stencil (which is currently on sale for only $3.5!!) over a piece of white cardstock. Next, I took three colors of distress oxide ink — one in green, one in purple and one in red shade. Then I started ink blending the inks over the stencil. I tried to make the leaves green and the flowers in purple in red, but the true magic in this technique is the blend of the colors, so I didn’t mind if the colors mixed.

Just stenceling can make the image a bit boring, so I took my color pencils and added some details. I used green for adding details to the leaves and red for adding details to the flowers. To make the card even more interesting, I used white gel pen and added some extra details with it.
Next, I took the Thankful everything stamp set along with black ink and stamped the ‘Grateful for your kindness’ sentiment in the center of my wreath.

The only thing left to do on the card was to add a bit more depth and I achived that by adding a black line on the outside of the wreath. To do so, I just used a ruller and a black pen and the lines were done in no time.
That’s all for today! Thank you so much for joining me! Please let me know in the comments if you like the one layer stencil card of not!
