Happy Friday, crafty friends! Father’s Day is coming up on June 19 and I’m here with a few ideas for some super quick and easy Father’s Day cards.

Today I said “No!” to stamping and pulled out the awesome slimline paper pack, Art Deco. This pack is full of beautiful patterns that can be used for masculine, feminine or elegant cards.

To start out, I cut the slimline Art Deco paper to fit onto an A2 size card panel. I then took cut a piece of Moonlit Lake Foil, cutting the foil about ½ in smaller on both sides than the size of the pattern paper. The foil was then placed over the piece of pattern paper with the geometric black and white pattern. This was put into a parchment carrier sheet and run through a Mini Minc foiling machine.

The negative (or leftover) piece of foil from the first card was then placed over the second piece of pattern paper and the same process was followed for foiling that piece.

The cards were the matted with Eclipse Black cardstock. An additional mat of white cardstock was added for the second card.

To complete the cards, Simple Saying sentiments were added with foam tape.

I hope you create something today! Thanks so much for stopping by!
