Hi there, it’s Kaja from Kajcyika crafts, and today I prepared a quick and simple Christmas card for you!
Take a look:

I must admit that once I feel that Christmas is getting closer and I still have to make many cards to send out, I panic. When I do so, I try to make as many simple cards as possible, but of course, the cards must still look stylish. I usually prepare a clean and simple card design and then just change the colors to make many cards in the same style.
Today I prepared one that can be made in no time, but it still looks cool and full of life!

The first thing that I did while making this card was to stamp out the tree from the Build your own Christmas stamp set. I stamped it towards the bottom of the card and then masked it off using Post-it® notes that I cut in the shape of the tree.
I then masked a thick line around the tree with Post-it® notes and then used two colors of distress oxide ink in blue shades to create a simple but interesting background. Once that was done, I removed both masks to reveal a beautiful white tree and the background.

Next, I stamped out the sentiment that reads ‘Sending Christmas cheer’ from the Sending and wishing stamp set. I used black ink for both – the only difference is that I stamped ‘Sending’ directly to the card front and then added ‘Christmas cheer’ on a separate white paper piece.
The card is almost one layer; the only thing that I popped up is the second part of the sentiment, which makes this quick and simple Christmas card super easy to make!
The last thing that I added were some white snowflakes, for which I used my white gel pen.
Let me know in the comments below what is your go-to technique for last-minute Christmas cardmaking!
