Hello hello friends. My birthday card stash has been greatly diminished the last few month. Seems like everyone I know has had a birthday this summer.
Today’s card, I’m shopping my stash of forgotten stamps. It’s been a long time since I’ve used the Shower of Gifts background stamp. Time to show it some love.

I started out by applying Vegas Strip ink to my glass mat and spritzing it with a little water. I then dabbed up the ink with my water color panel. I did this a couple times until I go the coverage I wanted. With a brush, I applied ink sprinkles with some of the left over ink.

Once the panel was dry, I was ready to stamp the background. To use with my Misti, I needed to remove the foam pad. The white rubber stamps are thick since they are mounted on foam. I inked up the Shower of Gifts background with Clear Embossing Ink and stamped the panel. Using my Smooshing tool to make sure I got a good impression.

Using the Rose Gold Dual Tip Powder brush, I dusted Asteroid -Interference Kaleidoscope Powder over the stamped panel. The powder is very light and just add a little contrast. But the shimmer is so fun.

I didn’t have any cardstock in Vegas Strip, so I made my own. Using the edge of the ink pad, I drug it across the paper, inking up just the edge. I’ll be covering the middle, no need to add ink there. The splotches disappeared once the ink dried completely.
I finished off the card by adding foam tape to Ephemera Birthday Sentiment and added a few Acid Wash Jewels

Thanks for following along
Until next time – Jackieā¤
