Hi everyone, Carisa back with you today with my final project as part of the Maker Forte Design Team! I really enjoyed being on this team and all the fun projects I’ve been able to share with you over the past year. I’m also really excited for you all to meet the new team for 2022 so stay tuned for that! The card I’m sharing with you today is completed in a couple simple steps.

To start, I chose this beautiful stencil to ink blend through using Neon Lights Color Hive Ink. I love how you get a variation of color just depending on how much ink you lay down through the stencil.

The next step I stamped in black the silhouette of the deer, antler and sentiment from the Deer Builder stamp set in the middle of the card. At this point, I also added some splatters using the ink I used to blend as well as some gold watercolor paint. I love how beautifully this silhouette stamped.

Here are some close ups of the card. It’s simple but pretty. This would be a great design to mass create to give as gifts or just have extra cards on hand when you need them.

I placed my panel on a simple black cardstock for a small border as well as added some tiny black gemstones. So maybe not technically a one layer card but in my mind close enough!

Thank you all for joining me in my creative time with Maker Forte and I wish you all a Happy Crafty New Year!
