Hello! It’s Kari here and today I have TWO cards to share using the Stamp & Stencil Duos from Maker Forte. The *New Safari stamp and stencil bundle is just amazing, and the previously released Deer To Me Stamp and stencil bundle is now back in stock! So I thought I’d make a card with each of these!
Card #1
First, I started with the “Deer To Me” set. I stamped it using my NEW FAVORITE black ink from Maker Forte. This ink dries quickly so you can ink blend right away!
I put the stencil over the top of the stamped image and ink blended some Distress Inks using blending brushes. I used Peacock Feathers, Faded Jeans, and Dusty Concord colors.
Then I added another stencil over the top and ink blended the same colors over the top! This adds that spectacular design to the background sky. It kind of looks like Northern lights a little, doesn’t it? Try this in different colors and see what you get!
Card #2
For the second card, I stamped the NEW* Safari stamp set onto cream colored paper. I used the same dark black ink that I love. Then I added BOTH of the stencils that are included in the bundle so I could ink up the sun in a yellow ink.
I removed one of the stencils and kept the larger stencil on the stamped image. Then I ink blended with Fired Brick, Spiced Marmalade, and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Inks.
See how I offset that larger stencil so there’s a bit of a light shadow behind those trees? Such a neat look!
