Hello again friends. It’s Jackie and I’m back with two Easter cards I made just using stencils.

For this first card, I used Egg Trio. At the moment, this stencil is only available as a free with purchase item. Maker Forte is so generous like that.

My go to mask is just full stick Post-It notes. I bought a whole stack of them on Amazon a couple years ago. They’ve lasted a long time. Any way, I started off by masking off the two smaller eggs. I lightly blended Coronation Purple over the egg. I then carefully lifted the stencil and added another circle stencil underneath. I went back with the same color, but just with a little heavier hand.

Next, I masked off the large purple egg, and ink blended California Yellow and Bubble Gum to one side and Palm Tree and Neon Lights to the other. Making sure to slightly overlap the colors to get a good blend.

I cut down the panel to 4″ x 5¼” and glued it to a piece of black striped pattern paper. I then glued that to a A2 Side Fold Card Base.

I had the sentiment already precut form previous project. So I just adhered it using dimensional form tape.

This second card was almost as quick as the first. For this one I used Bunny Eggs Stencil from the Spring has Sprung Release. It’s a multi step stencil. That meaning that each layer will mask the previous coloring.

Like the precious card, I used the Post-It note to mask off each egg as I ink blended.

The Color Hive inks are pretty intense. My blending brushes had plenty of color still left on them. I didn’t need to reload them with ink.

I didn’t want the bunnies to be too dark , so Frappe ink was the perfect choice.

For the sentiment, I chose Happy Easter from the Simple Sayings -Spring Celebrations. Think it fits perfectly with the card. I cut a black circle slightly larger and popped the sentiment on that. I then finished the card the same as the previous card.

Thank you for following along. If you have any question, be sure to leave me a comment

Until next time – Jackie ❤
