Hey crafty friends! I hope you’re all doing SUPER this SUMMER! Summer is my favorite season and the beach is my favorite place to be (besides my own home in Cincinnati, of course!) That’s why I love the newest Summer Sizzle release from Maker Forte! It’s everything, I love all in one place!

Today, I’m sharing 2 beachy silhouette cards with you!

To make the first card, I’m using the A2 Circle Spotlight Stencil to create a circle sunset scene. I’m blending Yellowstone at the top, then Rah Rah Skirt in the middle, and Purple Rain at the bottom.

Once I have my circle sunset, I’m ready to grab my Seaside Silhouettes Stamp Set that works perfect with this stencil. I’m stamping my image with Color Hive ReMARKable Eclipse Black Ink.

Once that’s stamped, I’m going to trim down my white cardstock to 4″ x 5.25″. Then, I’m cutting a piece of Eclipse Black cardstock to be just a smidge larger than my white cardstock.

Now, I’m ready to ink up my sentiment and stamp it underneath my circle.

To finish off my card, I’m going to adhere my black cardstock to a white A2 card base. I’m also going to add a few water droplets using my Magic Wand Tool.

For my next card, I’m starting with the same A2 Circle Spotlight Stencil. For this background, I’m starting with Acid Wash, then Purple Rain in the middle, and Rah Rah Skirt on the bottom.

To create some splatter effects, I’m going to use my Mister Perfect Spray Bottle that I have filled with water and white distress ink.

I’m also going to add more splatter with my black ink and my Splatter Stamps. I’m using my Spotlight Stencil again to ensure I don’t get the splatter outside the circle.

I’m also going to add my Seaside Silhouettes Stamp Set to the background using my Color Hive ReMARKable Eclipse Black Ink and my Smoosher.

Now, I’m ready to add my sentiment.

To change things up a bit on this card, I’m going to put my Circle Spotlight sentiment down first…

Then, add my Pineapple Paradise Stencil on top. I’m going to blend a bit of Rah Rah Skirt for the pineapple pattern.

The last step is to layer my white and black cardstocks and adhere to my card base!

And that’s it for me today! I hope you’ve enjoyed my bright, tropical cards! Until next time.. xx, Amanda
