Howdy, y’all! it’s Jill from Jill Cameron Creations. We are making super quick cards with patterned paper today. The Rosey Days paper pack from Maker Forte is so pretty and fun. It makes cards a snap.

The first card we’ll create today is fussy cutting an image from one of the papers. This bold image with a black outline is perfect for this method.

Make sure some of the image hangs off the card to give it a more continuous look.

For the next card, the bold white image can stand on its very own without any help. The stripes in the background end in a scallop that paired great with some silver glitter cardstock. The black backing really makes the patterned paper pop.

This pattern took me back. Way back to the 80’s! Using a Distress Embossing Pen I outlines all of the leaf images on the paper. The embossing powder is Rose Quartz from Ranger. It adds texture along with color.

I used black to really set off the 80’s-ness of the paper and cut it at an angle.

This is my favorite card. These papers can be foiled and that’s just what I did with this amazing floral image. I foil it in rainbow. And that’s it. That’s all it needed.

For the last of my super quick cards with patterned paper, I used a stitched rectangle die to focus on the giant flowers in the center. The black cardstock was a little plain so I added some Kaleidoscope Powder in Black Hole to some stamped images.

Lastly, I stamped the same sentiment 5 times in VersaFine Onyx Black ink. I used clear embossing powder on it. I used my Silhouette Cameo and PixScan Mat to cut out the sentiments. Then, I glued the sentiments on each card front.
