Hi crafters! I’m curious what’s your favorite way to build scenes? I like to combine traditional stamping, with the some “hand drawn” elements to create unique cards. Today I chose to feature the stamp set, Take Care, Teddy Bear in a cute nature scene using Copics, simple ink blending, and of course stamping. I love this sweet bear and I can picture him getting in all kinds of trouble finding his next honey pot. You’ll have to tell me what you think?

As you can tell from this picture I not only made the cute card front, but I couldn’t resist decorating the inside too. To start the card I stamped the honey drip image at the top of the page, and then carefully lined up the bear’s paw so that it appears he is hanging from it. No honey bear would be complete without bee right? From there I drew in a rough shape of tree and stamped the accompanying leaves from the Take Care, Teddy Bear set. Instead of describing the color process I suggest checking out the video below.
For the inside of the card, I used the Color Hive Eclipse black ink to stamp the honey at the top again. And before stamping the cute little bear face, I trimmed down a strip of honey comb patterned paper from Honey Bears & Bees to approximatly 1/2 inch by 3 inch and angled it on one end. Once I knew the placement then I could stamp the sweet little bear. Super cute right?
