Hello again my crafty friends. Jackie here with the perfect card for the teacher in your life. My kids are grown now so I don’t need teacher appreciation cards but I’ve always felt like teachers deserve to be honored. They are helping us raise our future

I started off by lightly ink blending the entire card front with Palm Tree and Neon Lights ink. Then I secured the So Much Love stencil over the top of the panel and ink blended again, this time with a little heavier hand.

Keeping the stencil in place, I cleaned off the excess ink and then generously applied the Crystal Clear Maker’s Magic glue. Being careful to get an even coat over all the hearts. I set it aside to dry.

While the glaze was drying, I chose a sentiment from the Back to School Ephemera pack. I don’t have a lot of experience using Deco foil. I had an idea in my head of adding different colors to the same image. Long ago I thought I had read that you could only run the image through the laminator once. Figured there was only one way to find out for sure. So I gave it a try. And guess what?!? You can run it through more than once. I ran this design through three different times, each with a different color. Came out perfectly!

Now that the glaze was dry, it’s time to assemble the card. I cut the card panel down to 4⅛ x 5¼ and glued it down to an A2 Top Fold card base. To add dimension to the sentiment I added foam tape and centered it on the card base.

I absolutely love the shine from the Crystal Clear Maker’s Magic glue and the Deco Foil. Definitely doing this again.

Thank you for stopping by.

Until next time – Jackie ❤
