What a weekend! Did you take advantage of the amazing sales? I have to admit, I can’t resist a sale!!
I love nutcrackers and couldn’t resist making a card using The Nutcracker set. I measured off the center point of the card panel and drew a faint line. I centered the first nutcracker over the line and stamped it in Eclipse Black ink. I then stamped the other two nutcrackers on either side.
If you’re every in doubt, a quick Google search can be a huge help. At first I wasn’t sure how I wanted to color these nutcrackers, but my search gave me so many great ideas.
Once I had the nutcrackers completely colored, the panel looked unfinished. I grabbed the Windows to Winter set that was still on my desk (who am I kidding, everything is still on my desk) The set has an assortment of small snowflakes. Using Neon Light ink I stamped the snowflakes randomly around the nutcrackers. Making sure to leave room for my sentiment.
The sentiments that come with The Nutcracker set are so fun. I don’t normally add sentiments to the inside of my card, but I just couldn’t resist this cheeky saying.
