Today I am sharing how to make a scary Halloween card. I started by cutting a Slimline layer and blending lime green ink onto it. Next I blended purple ink through the Maker Forte Spider Web stencil on the left side of the layer. (I know it appears to be the right side.) HaHa

The next step I did was to splatter the same purple ink all over the card layer using the Maker Forte red rubber splatter stamp.

Now is the fun step of creating the actual scene. I decided to use the Maker Forte Haunted House Slimline Stamp to do this. I chose to emboss the image onto the layer in black. (Now you can see the spider web is on the left.)

I cut a banner and embossed the sentiment onto it. Then I attached it to the card layer using foam tape to give the card a bit of dimension. To add some additional color I added a few faceted orange dots.

The final step was to cut additional card stock layers to finish the card. These are a thin purple layer and a thicker black layer.

This was a fun and easy Halloween card that can be made in a short amount of time. It would look quite different if you choose to color the sky in different colors and add offer elements. Enjoy adding your spin to a basic Halloween card. Enjoy crafting!
