I just got my latest order from Maker Forte and it had the Floating Gingkos stamp set. I just love this set! I couldn’t wait to play with it today!

As soon as I saw these floral stamps, I knew that I wanted to use a white heat embossing technique on jewel toned colored cardstock.

I pulled out the stack of precut card fronts that I’ve been collecting over the years…it’s time to use them! I selected 6 colors and then made the cards assembly line style.

I stamped the gingkos along the edge on each one in embossing ink and added white embossing powder to each. When I had them all stamped, I heat set them.

I repeated the process with the sentiment on each to finish the card front.

I added a white mat to each and started adhering them to black card bases. I didn’t love the black, so I finished the rest on white card bases. I still can’t decide which I like better!

All in all, I kept the layout simple and I have a nice clean and simple set of sympathy cards for my card stash.
