I have two very different cards to share with you today using the new Wreathed In Flowers stamp set.

I selected one of the leafy vine stamps in the sentiment and stamped it several times along the top and side of the card front cut at 3-3/4 x 5″. This was stamped in Eclipse Black ink from Maker Forte so I could color it with my Copics right away.

I selected two colors for each little leaf, a darker and a lighter shade. I used some yellows, reds, greens, and oranges to color in the image.

The sentiment was heat embossed on brown cardstock in gold embossing powder. I created two pieces of DIY gold paper by using the clear ink pad and some gold embossing powder around the edges of two pieces of cardstock. This is an easy way to create gold cardstock to add some shine to your projects!

My second card was a quick and easy sympathy card from that same stamp set. I used the Flower Power slimline patterned paper from Maker Forte to have an instant background for my card.

Next, I heat embossed the With Sympathy sentiment and the heart and leaf floral image on to thick vellum.

I cut a piece of Eclipse black card stock to fit behind my vellum piece. I also cut a 1/2″ strip of the black to serve as a band across the card front. This breaks up the busy background and gives your eye a place to rest.

My final touch for both cards was to add some Crown Jewel Gems. I added the shaped heart to the sympathy card and 3 solar flare gems to the fall inspired card.
