Everyone loves s’mores so why not use these adorable Maker Forte stamps to let that special person know how much you love them. Used the A-2 Spotlight Circle stencil and the A Little S’more Love Stamp to make this fun card.

I started the design of this card by stamping the two s’mores and colored them using Markers. I was very pleased with the outcome.

My next step was to use the A-2 Spotlight Circle stencil to create the background for the focal images. I used removable tape to hold the stencil in place on an A-2 white layer one (4”x5 1/4”). Then I used a flame stencil both the positive and negative parts to create the overlapping flames in yellow, orange and red ink. The positive part of the flame stencil was used as a mask when inking the layer of flames above the negative stencil. When the stencil is removed you are left with a circle of flames. My hope is that it resembles a fire pit or camp fire for toasting marshmallows.

I now stamped the sentiment ‘s’more’ directly onto the card layer in black ink. The rest of the sentiment was embossed onto a thin red banner in yellow and attached to the card using foam tape to give some dimension to the card.

The final step is to attach the card layer to a black card base. Also the two S’mores’ were attached using the foam tape. A few clear sequins were added as a final touch. Happy Fourth of July!
